North Rowan and Albemarle are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Cavaliers will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

North Rowan lost 3-0 to Gray Stone Day on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Albemarle came up short against Union Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-12.

Albemarle now has a losing record of 5-6. As for North Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

North Rowan suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Albemarle when the teams last played on September 10th. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
