Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers 62-30. The Broncos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

Jada Nims and Kennady Hartl certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Nims posted six points and six boards, while Hartl had three points.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Lisbon will take on Enderlin in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Central Cass at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
