Soccer Game Preview: Pflugerville vs. Georgetown

The Pflugerville Panthers will challenge the Georgetown Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Pflugerville's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Pflugerville is headed into the match having not lost since January 20 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Weiss finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Georgetown's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weiss on Friday. Georgetown have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

With that draw, Pflugerville's record moves to 4-5-6. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-4.

Pflugerville might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Georgetown in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
