Football Recap: Hooker Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hooker and Rejoice Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hooker had to settle for second. They were dealt a 49-8 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. The Bulldogs were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the four contests prior), but the Eagles' defense proved too tough.

With the loss, Hooker broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3. As for Rejoice Christian, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Hooker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rejoice Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pawhuska at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
