Softball Recap: Meadowdale Comes Up Short

Meadowdale lost against Monroe back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mavericks came up short against the Bearcats, falling 11-1. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meadowdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Martens, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meadowdale's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Monroe, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowdale will take on Lake Washington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monroe, they will welcome Everett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
