Football Recap: Liberty's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Liberty won the last time they faced Foothill, and Jianna Reyes did her part to make sure it happened again. The Liberty Patriots breezed by the Foothill Falcons to the tune of 51-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Reyes, who threw for 380 yards and five touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Trishelle Tucay was another key player, picking up 130 receiving yards and one touchdown. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

The win made it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Foothill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Liberty will square off against Palo Verde at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palo Verde will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight. As for Foothill, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Foothill Falcons take on the Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Foothill is facing Somerset Sky Pointe at the right time seeing as Somerset Sky Pointe is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
