Basketball Recap: Quantico Comes Up Short

Quantico lost against The Carmel School back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Quantico Warriors were beaten by The Carmel School Wildcats 68-15. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Kedelin Santos, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 11 steals for The Carmel School. Santos' evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Sirois, who posted 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Quantico's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for The Carmel School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Quantico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 41-10 defeat against Grace Christian School on the 25th. The Carmel School has also already played their next contest, a 62-55 loss against Christ Chapel Academy on the 25th.
