Soccer Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Blacksburg

After losing to Salem the last time they met, Blacksburg decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans on Friday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Blacksburg were the better team in the second half.

They hit Salem with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Paul Distler, Luca Ripepi, and Esteban Carvajal.

Blacksburg pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Salem, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
