After a string of four wins, Homestead's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynbrook Vikings. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lynbrook, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Homestead and Yerba Buena will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead is facing Yerba Buena at the right time seeing as Yerba Buena is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lynbrook, they will be home for the holidays to greet Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
