Soccer Game Preview: Bradley Central vs. Cumberland County

The Bradley Central Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Cumberland County Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bradley Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Bradley Central came up short against Loudon and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and Collegedale Academy finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result kept Cumberland County happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 13th.

Bradley Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. With that draw, Cumberland County's record moves to 11-2-3.

Bradley Central couldn't quite get it done against Cumberland County when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
