Basketball Recap: Hobbton Comes Up Short

Hobbton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 45-23 to the Rosewood Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-12 back in January.

Katie Britt was Hobbton's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Hobbton's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Rosewood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Hobbton has already played their next matchup, a 66-21 defeat against Lakewood on the 7th. As for Rosewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-26 loss against Neuse Charter on the 7th.
