Soccer Recap: Galileo Find Success

Galileo hadn't done well against Lowell recently (they were 0-7-1 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Galileo Lions came out on top against the Lowell Cardinals by a score of 3-1. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Galileo has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matchups. As for Lowell, they moved to 6-3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Galileo is taking a road trip to face off against Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lowell has already played their next game (against San Francisco International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
