Austin faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Black Bears walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The Black Bears were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Black Bears were just returning the favor.

Austin's offense was headlined by Charlie Barnes and Amari Woods, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Maggie Jae Marsh and her 16 assists. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
