Recap: St. Francis Knights vs. Galloway Scots

The St. Francis Knights posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. Everything went their way against Galloway as St. Francis made off with a 66-43 win. Given St. Francis' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Galloway is ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Francis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Javon Holt, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Greg Howard, who scored 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Galloway lost, one person who can't be blamed is Fielden Winn. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Winn has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reggie Johnson, who scored four points along with eight rebounds.

The victory makes it two in a row for St. Francis and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Galloway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 357 points over their last five matchups. As for Galloway, they will face off against Walker at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Walker is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.4 points per game.
