Soccer Game Preview: Guilford vs. Shelton

The Guilford Grizzlies will take on the Shelton Gaels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Guilford is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Shelton better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Guilford's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Guilford really gets things going. The Grizzlies never let Fairfield Prep get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Guilford, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Shelton narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past West Haven 1-0.

Guilford now has a winning record of 6-5-3. As for Shelton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1.
