Basketball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was the 48-40 winner over Deming when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Chaparral Lobos took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deming Wildcats on Friday. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Deming, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-20.

Coming up, Chaparral will host Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral is facing Santa Teresa at the right time seeing as Santa Teresa is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Deming, they will venture away from home to challenge Silver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Deming surely won't give up without a fight.
