Heathwood Hall Episcopal came tearing into Friday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Hammond Skyhawks 73-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-11 back in January.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal had a senior duo take command as SaBreya Monsanto dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards and Lauren Jacobs went 14 for 23 to rack up 32 points and seven rebounds. Jacobs has been hot for a while, having posted 19 or more points the last 11 times she's played. Shamarie Hayes was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Hammond, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
