Recap: Dexter Tigers vs. Foxcroft Academy Ponies
The Dexter Tigers lost to the Foxcroft Academy Ponies two weeks ago, but the Dexter Tigers didn't allow the Foxcroft Academy Ponies the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Dexter managed a 52-47 win over Foxcroft Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dexter.
Dexter found their leader in underclassman Bryce Cooper, who scored 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cooper has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kody Kimball, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Dexter now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Foxcroft Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dexter will take on George Stevens Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. George Stevens Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. Foxcroft Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Hermon at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th.
