Volleyball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner lost against Newman Smith back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-7.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Newman Smith, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Turner is set to take on their familiar foe Creekview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Newman Smith will face off against rival Wakeland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
