Softball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Eagles vs. Graford Rabbits

The Trinity Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Graford Rabbits at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trinity Christian fell victim to Lubbock Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against Lubbock Christian, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which Trinity Christian was not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Graford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-6 to De Leon.

Lilly Ruddy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Perry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Graford, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Graford in their previous meeting back in February of 2019, as Trinity Christian made off with a 20-3 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Rabbits have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
