Basketball Recap: Balboa Takes a Loss

Balboa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 48-39 to the Lowell Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 61-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Balboa's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lowell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Balboa will be home for the holidays to greet Wallenberg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lowell, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Aragon at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
