Lincoln County is 9-1 against Laughlin since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Lynx will head out to face off against the Cougars at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln County is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since April 2, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past Awaken Christian 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lynx.

Meanwhile, Laughlin entered their tilt with Lake Mead Christian Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Eagles 23-13. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won ten matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Laughlin's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Everything went Lincoln County's way against Laughlin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Lincoln County made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lynx since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
