After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Paul Catholic, Watertown was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Thomaston Bears with a sharp 14-6 win. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Watertown back to even at 3-3. As for Thomaston, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Thomaston will host Lauralton Hall at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Watertown will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' match: after the Bears face off against the Crusaders, they'll take on Watertown again at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
