Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longview Christian). They really took it to the King's Academy Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-18 win. Longview Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Longview Christian found their leader in sophomore Isabella Smith, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Madi Newlin, who put up nine points.

Longview Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.6 points per game. As for King's Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Longview Christian will square off against Greenville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for King's Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christian Home Educators at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
