Baseball Recap: Wilcox Academy Starts off Right with Win over Snook Christian Academy

Wilcox Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Snook Christian Academy Eagles. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Wilcox Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Curry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another was Andrew Malone, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Snook Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wilcox Academy has already played their next matchup (against Escambia Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Snook Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-3 win against West Florida Baptist Academy on the 3rd.
