Chaney has gone 9-1 against East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chaney Cowboys will look to defend their home court against East at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Chaney's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while East has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Chaney will head into Tuesday's match after some sweet revenge against Benedictine: Chaney lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Benedictine, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of 2's game. Chaney put the hurt on Benedictine with a sharp 66-45 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cowboys have posted since January 8th.

Meanwhile, East lost a heartbreaker to West Branch when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. East fell 54-46 to West Branch. That's two games in a row now that East has lost by exactly eight points.

East's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Chaney, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Chaney was able to grind out a solid victory over East in their previous meeting back in January, winning 58-45. Will Chaney repeat their success, or does East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
