Football Recap: North Bergen Piles Up the Points Against Cliffside Park

North Bergen got themselves on the board against Cliffside Park on Friday, but Cliffside Park never followed suit. They blew past the Raiders 34-0. The game marked the Bruins' most dominant win of the season.

North Bergen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Dante Cabrera, Valazquez, and George Tamer picked up one apiece. Tamer is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last four games he's played. Cabrera got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for North Bergen, bringing their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.3 points over those games. As for Cliffside Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

North Bergen has already played their next contest, a 24-3 victory against Indian Hills on the 10th. As for Cliffside Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-14 loss against Kearny on the 10th.
