Basketball Game Preview: Burns Broncs vs. Wheatland Bulldogs

The Burns Broncs are taking a road trip to take on the Wheatland Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burns is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Burns was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 68-64 to Glenrock.

Meanwhile, Wheatland lost to Rawlins on the road by a 54-38 margin on Saturday.

Wheatland has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Burns was taken down by Wheatland 76-35 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Burns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
