Volleyball Recap: Leominster Comes Up Short

Leominster managed to slip by Assabet Valley RVT the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Aztecs on Wednesday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Aztecs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Leominster has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Assabet Valley RVT, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leominster will venture away from home to take on Millis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are facing the Mohawks at the right time seeing as the Mohawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Assabet Valley RVT, they are taking a road trip to square off against Keefe Tech at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Aztecs surely won't give up without a fight.
