Recap: Northridge Knights vs. Ogden Tigers
The Northridge Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Ogden as Northridge made off with a 66-46 win. That 66-46 margin sets a new team best for Northridge this season.
Northridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaylee Hess out in front who scored 13 points along with four steals. Sarah Mower was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Despite the loss, Ogden had strong showings from Salote Tonga, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Lily Gonzalez, who scored 17 points. Tonga is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.
Even though they lost, Ogden were working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
The win (which was Northridge's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Ogden, they bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
