Soccer Recap: Tarpon Springs Comes Up Short

Tarpon Springs was the 4-2 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tarpon Springs Spongers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings on Monday.

Tarpon Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Tarpon Springs will be playing at home against Anclote at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northeast, they will venture away from home to take on Hollins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.
