Football Game Preview: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. Chiles Timberwolves + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in LJ Smith and Gerald Clark are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Suwannee Bulldogs will face off against the Chiles Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Suwannee is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Suwannee came up short against Atlantic Coast and fell 27-17. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chiles). They claimed a resounding 48-17 win over Leon. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Chiles' win came from a few key players Suwannee will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cade Frier, who picked up 94 receiving yards and one TD. Those 94 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Suwannee's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chiles, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Suwannee barely slipped by Chiles in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 25-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
