After a string of seven wins, Wilson Hall's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the John Paul II Golden Warrriors, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Barons have suffered since August 21st.

While Wilson Hall was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

McKinley Bath paced Wilson Hall's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bath got some help from Natalie Hawkey and her 26 assists. Savannah Wells controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Wilson Hall's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for John Paul II, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-9-2.

Wilson Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lee Academy on the 4th. John Paul II has also already played their next matchup (against Trinity Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
