There's no place like home for Willits, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 15-6 win over the Fort Bragg Timberwolves on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Willits to victory were Porter Garman and Ryan Carter. Garman gained 143 total yards, while Carter picked up 23 receiving yards and one touchdown. Garman didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended one pass.

Willits didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Damian Reiter and Donny Alexander.

Loss or not, Fort Bragg got some senior leadership from Beau Hebden and Cesar Escobar. Hebden rushed for 75 yards and one TD on only eight carries, while Escobar rushed for 106 yards on only nine carries.

Willits' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Fort Bragg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Willits will look to defend their home field on Friday against Redwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them. Fort Bragg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
