Soccer Recap: King Abdullah Academy Comes Up Short

King Abdullah Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Wakefield School Fighting Owls. King Abdullah Academy were not able to make up for their loss to Wakefield School from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

King Abdullah Academy's record is now 2-7. As for Wakefield School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King Abdullah Academy will venture away from home to face off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wakefield School, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Quantico at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
