Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

If King's Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lee Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Mazie Tomlinson. The Lee Academy Cavaliers walked away with a 50-39 victory over the King's Academy Lions on Friday thanks in part to Tomlinson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. Tomlinson is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.

Lee Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for King's Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

As of now, neither Lee Academy nor King's Academy have any future games scheduled.
