Baseball Recap: Overbrook Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Overbrook can now relate to. They fell just short of the Haddon Heights Garnets by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Garnets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Overbrook moved to 12-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Haddon Heights, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Overbrook will square off against Penns Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Haddon Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
