Westover hasn't had much luck against Triton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Westover Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Triton Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Westover took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand E.E. Smith a 1-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Nelson Brown, who's now up to two this season.

Westover's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Triton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4-1.
