Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Midland Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Midland, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Lisbon by a score of 13-3 later that day.
