Recap: Hitchcock Bulldogs vs. Danbury Panthers

The Hitchcock Bulldogs stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Danbury 104-18 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Hitchcock as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Despite the loss, Danbury still got an impressive performance from Mason Mitchell, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 66.7% of Danbury's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Hitchcock pushed their record up to 25-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Danbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-24 record this season.

Hitchcock will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hempstead at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Hempstead focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Danbury, they will head out on the road to square off against East Bernard at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. East Bernard is facing Danbury at the right time seeing as Danbury is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
