Bishop Dunne has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Legacy Christian Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Dunne, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Bishop Dunne earned a 62-50 win over Brighter Horizons Academy.
Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Grapevine Faith Christian on Saturday and lost 52-38. While losing is never fun, Legacy Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 712th, while Grapevine Faith Christian is ranked 349th).
Bishop Dunne's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
Bishop Dunne suffered a grim 90-66 defeat to Legacy Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Bishop Dunne avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
