Blair Oaks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 14, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Hallsville Indians as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Blair Oaks won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 27-25.

Mallory Strope paced Blair Oaks' offense, picking up 11 kills. Strope got some help from Laney Toebben and her 17 assists. Hannah Lackman and Kendall Wood kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Blair Oaks' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-13. As for Hallsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Coming up, Blair Oaks will head out to challenge Southern Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Hallsville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Columbia Independent on the 27th.
