Soccer Game Preview: Rockingham County vs. Walkertown + Official Tickets

The Rockingham County Cougars will head out to face off against the Walkertown Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockingham County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Wednesday, Rockingham County and McMichael finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walkertown). They came out on top against Morehead by a score of 4-2 two weeks ago. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Walkertown considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Morehead with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from JUAN CALLEJA, JOSUE HERNANDEZ, ANGEL HERNANDEZ, and JOHN DANIEL HERRERA.

With that draw, Rockingham County's record moves to 7-9-3. As for Walkertown, they moved to 2-5-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Rockingham County took their victory against Walkertown when the teams last played on October 8th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
