Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abington). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Middleborough Sachems 48-7. The Green Wave might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 26 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Abington, bringing their record up to 4-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.8 points. As for Middleborough, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Abington is taking a road trip to square off against Norwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middleborough, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th.
