Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Immanuel Christian). They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-44 victory over the Chaparral Lobos. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Immanuel Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carlos Acu?a, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight assists and four steals. That's the most points Acu?a has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Story, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Immanuel Christian's record now sits at 9-11. As for Chaparral, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Immanuel Christian will head out to square off against Fort Hancock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m.
