Softball Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Polk County's offense. They came up short against the Tellico Plains Bears on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Polk County's record is now 2-12. As for Tellico Plains, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Looking ahead, Polk County will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Loudon at 6:00 p.m. The Wildcats are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tellico Plains, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against McMinn Central on the 16th.
