Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Piles Up the Points Against Wyandotte

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pawhuska had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 66-26 victory over the Wyandotte Bears. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Pawhuska found their leader in freshman Brooklyn Miles, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine boards. Miles is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emillie Curry was another key player, going 6-for-9 on her way to 12 points and six steals.

Pawhuska has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points over those games. As for Wyandotte, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Pawhuska nor Wyandotte have any future games scheduled.
