Basketball Recap: Burlington City Takes a Loss

Burlington City was the 66-50 winner over Penns Grove when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Burlington City Blue Devils came up short against the Penns Grove Red Devils on Monday, falling 69-45. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burlington City's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Penns Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Burlington City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-53 defeat against Burlington Township on the 22nd. Penns Grove has also already played their next contest, a 70-56 win against Woodstown on the 22nd.
