Volleyball Recap: Garfield-Palouse Takes Down Almira-Coulee-Hartline in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Garfield-Palouse walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Garfield-Palouse not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Almira-Coulee-Hartline between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Garfield-Palouse was led to victory by Kaylee Kimble and Reisse Johnson. Kimble had eight digs and four assists, while Johnson had six digs. That's the most assists Kimble has posted since back in October.

Garfield-Palouse's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-9-1.

Garfield-Palouse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Fellowship Christian on the 13th. Almira-Coulee-Hartline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
