Del Oro wins going away against Laguna Creek

The Del Oro Golden Eagles won the last time they faced the Laguna Creek Cardinals, and things went their way on Friday too. Del Oro took down Laguna Creek 37-23. Given Del Oro's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Laguna Creek is ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Del Oro had a senior duo take command as Robert Garcia gained 123 total yards and two touchdowns and Caden Pinnick threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Beaux Sauve also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The win makes it two in a row for Del Oro and bumps their season record up to 7-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 17.5 points. As for Laguna Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
Del Oro will face off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jesuit will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Laguna Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
